Sales & Customer Care Coordinator - Immediate Opening!

In this very active, multi-faceted, hands-on position, you will work with a known and trusted housecleaning service in the Los Angeles area. This sales & customer care office position has three primary functions and requires a very high level of customer service. First, you will answer incoming calls from potential clients to provide service estimates and secure new sales. Second, you will speak/email with current clients who contact the office for cleaning requests, estimated time of arrivals, scheduling changes, service concerns, etc. in conjunction with our Sales & ServicesManager and General Manager who manages most of these needs. Third, you will assist with overseeing the field staff, their daily schedules, and the clients’ experience/quality of service with us. This position is the main point of contact between the field staff and office staff, so fluent English and Spanish speaking is required. Our goal is 100% customer service, and we are looking for a team member to contribute to that in our small office environment.

In this role, you will report directly to our Sales & Services Manager and General Manager as well as the owners (husband and wife) but will work alongside everyone in the company. You will need to possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be very proactive and organized. You should have good computer skills with knowledge of using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, the Internet, and basic phone system experience as well. Accurate and speedy typing (50 WPM Minimum) is necessary to keep up with the variety of emailing and data entry that is required daily.

We are looking for a candidate who is interested in building a longstanding relationship with our company and with our new and long-term customers. This is a small business, family-friendly environment and multi-tasking with a teamwork mindset is critical to succeed along with being very dependable.

Candidate is/has:

  • Available 7:15 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. The start time is generally between 7:15 am and 7:30 am and the office closes at 5 pm, but you may be here until between 5 pm and 6 pm.
  • Extraordinary communication and people skills with strong phone presence
  • Strong grammar and verbal skills and the ability to build loyal relationships with our clients
  • Personable, articulate, and kind
  • Easily trainable and takes direction well (learning our in-house software is required)
  • Experienced in managing people
  • A successful sales and customer service background
  • An efficient worker with a sense of urgency to proactively resolve issues or communicate to clients
  • Detail oriented, extremely organized, resourceful, and a multi-tasker
  • Willing to work in a small office environment (1-3 people in the office on average)
  • Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel knowledge
  • Ability to type accurately at an average of 50 WPM
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
  • A minimum of two years College education is ideal but not required
  • 2-5 years of work experience
  • A valid Driver License (required) along with reliable means of transportation

Compensation package:

  • $18-20/hr to start (depending on experience/qualifications)
  • Does not include health insurance and no company-sponsored 401K
  • Paid time off program: 6 Paid sick days a year (starts after 90-day probationary period) and 1-week paid vacation (starts after first year of employment)
